Round 64

Round 64 Rules:
+ Icons must be made originally for this challenge, no prior work may be submitted. If it is found that you do submit previous work, you will be disqualified from the next challenge.
+ All work must be your own, not someone else's
+ Make sure all images are PG rated. Meaning no nudity, etc.
+ Icons must fit the LiveJournal standard, under 40 kb, 100x100px and in either .png, .gif, or .jpg file format
+ When posting the finished 10 please leave three (3) icon examples - not a banner or only text - and a link to the icon post/or lj-cut to your journal
+ Post the completed icons all at once
+ The icon post must be unlocked for two reasons. #1 I need to be able to see your entries to post voting, and, #2 so people don't have to join to view your icons. (If they do join, it's a perk for you)
+ DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ICONS TO THIS POST
+ ALL entries are moderated, which means that I have to accept the entry before it's made visible to the public.
+ Please use the provided table to post your icons for convenience. (of course, you can change the colors of the table)
+ DO NOT ADD TAGS TO YOUR ENTRIES. A MOD WILL DO THAT.
+ DO add a subject. FORMAT AS: Round 64 - your username
+ Completed 20 are due March 9th, 11:59pm in your timezone
+ SIGNUPS are open for the entire round.

+ You'll be making icons that are related to the four houses of Hogwarts. The colors, the animals, the elements, the traits. Just not the characters. Five icons each.

GRYFFINDOR: Colors: Red and gold. Animal: Lion. Element: Fire. Traits: Bravery, Nerve, Chivalry, Courage, Daring.
HUFFLEPUFF: Colors: Yellow and black. Animal: Badger. Element: Earth. Traits: Dedication, Hard Work, Fair Play, Patience, Kindness, Tolerance, Unafraid of Toil, Loyalty.
RAVENCLAW: Colors: Blue and bronze. Animal: Eagle. Element: Air. Traits: Intelligence, Wit, Wisdom, Creativity, Originality, Individuality, Acceptance.
SLYTHERIN: Colors: Green and silver. Animal: Serpent. Element: Water. Traits: Resourcefulness, Cunning, Ambition, Determination, Self-Preservation, Fraternity, Cleverness.

By way of the random page generator at the Harry Potter Wiki, your prompt for this round is Quidditch. Any and all images pertaining to this Wizarding sport are allowed (if you're using fanart, you must have the artist's permission.

Also, for this round, you are only making 10 icons.

My apologies, gang -- the hiatus went a little longer than I had intended it to!

I'm going to get the next round posted in the next day or so -- just wanted to warn you that it was coming. :)

Also, it'll probably be a shorter challenge, just to get us all back into the groove.

Hey, all

Following a chat, I had a thought of a way to keep the comm going, but as you're the ones who are actually keeping it going...

Would you have any interest in having some shorter, single-topic challenges, where you would only enter 4-5 icons for each prompt? (similar to the way trekicontest or abc_foodie, etc, are set up)

For example, if the prompt was Hermione, your entry could be any five icons you wanted to make, so long as they're Hermione.

I know the comm is called a 20in20, but with so few participating, anymore, perhaps a "change in programming" might give us a chance to revitalize?

Please let me know your thoughts, as I'd love to have any ideas to get the creative juices reflowing!

This round is open to any red-headed celebrities - no claims needed!

Sorry for the delay in voting for R62 and a new round -- June was rough and I am behind all over LJ.

I want to thank emmatheslayer and halliwell for entering and I will get you participation banners ASAP.

Until then, as I don't have the ability to give this community the attention it deserves, at present, I am going to put it on a temporary hiatus until I can get myself organized and back on track.
